Healthy lifestyle lowers diabetes and heart disease risk
Among adults with newly diagnosed high blood pressure, keeping or improving multiple healthy habits was linked to substantially lower risk of heart and blood vessel disease and type 2 diabetes, even when blood pressure medicines were used. *Prospective cohort study; Level 2b (OCEBM).
